The FBI encourages the American public to visit the FBI Experience—a public tour housed in FBI Headquarters in Washington. The tour recently added items to its existing 9/11 gallery and has enhanced its online presence for those who cannot visit in person. Dr. John Fox, FBI historian, talks about what visitors can expect to see, do, and learn at The FBI Experience. Visitors, including school groups, can learn about more than 115 years of Bureau of history and some of the biggest FBI cases, including the 9/11 terrorist attack.

Retired Special Agent Eileen Roemer discusses her experience responding to the Pentagon after the 9/11 attack with her cadaver dog, and her work with other teams at the site. She also discusses the Pentagon limestone recently added to the 9/11 gallery in The FBI Experience and the “thank-you” items the team received and that she donated to the Experience.

Supervisory Special Agent Gary Turlington talks about the FBI’s role in collecting evidence at crime scenes. He also discusses his experiences collecting evidence, including his work at the 9/11 crash site near Shanksville, Pennsylvania.
