Finch Hydro Corridor is one of the safest trails in Toronto if you go for a fast ride. As the path is completely open in 90% of the time, you can see any pedestrians from afar, giving you time to slow down your pace and avoid any risk for both you and pedestrians.

Most of the trails around Toronto are breathtaking, but what makes them scenic also helps make them dangerous. Even if you ride at a safe speed, you have to be prepared for a surprise encounter with a pedestrian/cyclist walking/riding in the wrong way in every single corner.

There are two more good things about this trail. It is excellent to train headwind rides as well as downhill technique.
