🎬 State of the District: Episode 2 — A Strong Start to the School Year!
What an incredible start to the 2025–26 school year! From kindergarten lunches at Lockwood Elementary to 6th graders starting at Kenmore Middle School — and even a chance to practice my Spanish with students at Woodin Elementary — our first month has been filled with energy and joy thanks to our amazing students, dedicated staff, and supportive families.

Thanks to voter support of the 2022 Capital Bond, new learning spaces opened across the district at Maywood Hills Elementary, Kenmore Elementary, Woodin Elementary, Crystal Springs Elementary, and Sorenson Early Childhood Center, and we broke ground on exciting projects at Inglemoor High School and Leota Middle School.

I’ve also kicked off my “What Matters Most” Tour, connecting with families, students, and staff about what matters most to them, and I look forward to meeting with more of you.
