Leh to Tso Moriri lake | Puga valley and Hot Springs in September (Offbeat Ladakh)

In this video, we are traveling to Tso Moriri Lake from Leh city. On our way, we will be stopping at Hemis Monastery and Chumathang Hot Springs. We will then reach Karzok village where the lake Tso Moriri is located in Ladakh. We will also be exploring Puga Valley, Tso kar lake and passing by Kyagar Tso during our trip back to Leh city from Tso Moriri.

We hired a 4 wheel drive vehicle for this trip of 2 days and one night in Tso Moriri Ladakh. The Hemis Gompa is popularly known as one of the richest Monasteries in India. We visited Tso Moriri in October. Usually, most places shut down by September in Ladakh. We were lucky to get a chance to explore more of Ladakh in October.

It was already snowing in certain parts of Ladakh because of which it was slightly difficult in getting a place to stay and managing our drive back to Leh city. The Karzok village has no electricity most of the time, so please keep that in mind when you travel here!
