Koorawatha Falls

Koorawatha Falls is best visited after winter, after rain, otherwise the Bang Bang Creek may not carry as much water and there might only be a trickle over the water falls. It's about a 30 minute drive from Cowra, NSW.
From the main road it's about a 7km drive to close to the water falls. If you have a 4wd you can drive to near the falls. If you have a 2wd you can drive to about 2km before the water falls. Stop just before the cattle grid and walk the last 2kms. There may be water over the cattle grid, so be prepared, just in case. It is a pleasant walk. You can stop at the weir on the way, as you head to the water falls.
