The Brand New 992.2 2025 Porsche 911 Carrera Has Arrived!

The 992.2 2025 Porsche 9121 Carrera has been refreshed with more power, more tech, and updated styling. Lets unpack all the details of this .2 generation see what its all about.

The 992 generation Porsche 911 has been a pretty intense. Cars like the GT3, GT3RS, 911ST have all debuted with high revving engines and manual transmissions. In the midst of all these great 911’s we forget how good the bad 911 Carrera is.

With its fantastic 3 liter, twin turbocharged, boxer 6 cylinder it generates more power in this 992.2 generation. The turbochargers have been revised and are from the .1 GTS. The intercooler is also pulled from the Turbo to provide the 3 liter more air. The result is better acceleration. 0-60 in 3.7 second with sport chrono is nothing to laugh at for a base model. The brakes have also been upgrades to 6 pistons up front with 350mm rotors

The styling has also been slightly updates. The front facia has a much more modern and clean look versus the 992.1. The rear end looks mostly the same but overall I do like the look of the 992.2 better. All of this doesn’t come cheap. The price tag for the base 911 Carrera also rises to $120,000. Not cheap, but is it all worth it?
