Yale scholar and lecturer Adam Van Doren showcases the glorious hidden corners of Venice. Mystical shimmering Venice, rising up from the waters of the Adriatic Sea, has captured the imagination of Adam Van Doren since he was a student of architecture many years ago. It proved pivotal in his decision to become a painter, seduced by its haunting charms and endless pathways of stunning beauty. You're invited on this virtual wander with Adam, now an expert in its canals and alleyways, having spent a lifetime returning to Venice and stepping off the tourist path to sketch and paint its hidden scenes. On this virtual exploration you’ll indulge in the history, art, and architecture of this floating city.
