The CB Mood can do so many things, from the gold standard delay to FAR, FAR beyond and with incredible ease and flexibility! And so, without further ado, here's the most objective and concise CB Mood review, ever:

Pros:
does SO MANY shades of digital delay
integrates loops in your playing in a very unique and simple way
super long delay available (almost 12s, far more than in almost any other pedal)
parameter modulation (especially BOUNCE) is astonishing!
huge variety of tones and settings
it even sounds musical while simply changing the settings
so many different possibilities to create, yet still an excellent GUITAR pedal
envelope loop mode is the easiest EVER micro-looping algo to use with guitar
huge volume available
very transparent buffer and analog dry-through
your dry signal stays intact in both volume and tone
works with anything from instrument to line level, perfectly
high quality build
very intuitive, if you've ever used anything more complex than a TS/OD9
presets are very easy and comfortable to use and edit
has MIDI and expression control if you need them
and even if you just want a great delay, the CB Mood still has you covered with 12 seconds of madness and way more!

Cons:
it doesn't work on batteries and it's SMT. But it's literally impossible to complain about this here))
it's a bit more difficult to learn than a tube screamer.
looper side has a bit of a learning curve, but after a few minutes with it, you will undoubtedly master it

Neutral:
it's buffered. Some people like true bypass, others prefer buffers. This has a super transparent buffer.

The verdict?
There are extremely rare pedals that can both go wild, and be extremely high quality (super transparent, analog dry through, great volume, works well with different signals, etc.) and versatile (do many gold standard sounds) while at it! This is one of them, along with the mighty Dr Scientist creations, and very very few others. There's nothing like the CB Mood out there, and yet it can still do simple delay and reverb tasks with great ease and variety! But when you want it wild, it has wild. We like tube screamers a lot, but this is so much more than a TS/OD9, and you literally won't find it anywhere else, haha! Definitely deserves a huge recommendation!

This pedal BTW is an awesome collaboration between Chase Bliss, Old Blood Noise Endeavors and Drolo! Really awesome, we hope to get our panda paws on more OBNE and Drolo effects in the future too!
