Torque News friend Tobias Lindh from Grunheide has shared this very interesting new update of Tesla Giga Berlin and for the first time has visualized the actual shell of Tesla's first European Gigafactory, giving us a 3D look.

Here is the Giga Berlin's latest update and what Tesla has achieved in the recent days, seen in this drone video by our friend Tobias.

Jurgen writes that Tesla has been able to accomplish the following tasks:


New reinforced concrete beams were placed.
The first walls were built.
A new concrete mixing plant was built.
An unloading railway station was prepared.

Someone commented asking 'So do you envision Tesla shipping their vehicles mostly by rail through Europe once GF4 is up and running? I’m not familiar with the logistics/costs there and if that is any more efficient than by truck."

Jurgen replied and said, "Yes, Tesla's plan is to transport the finished cars by rail, which is more efficient and cheaper."

In the meantime, Tobias is writing "It seems like two concrete mixing plants are getting built. The foundation piles for the press arrived. At the drive unit building, the first concrete got poured and work for casting and body in white started."
