Yayh, the cage build is finally here, sorry it took so long, grab something to drink, put your feet up and enjoy watching me attempt to build my first ever cage that isn’t a flat pack.

For those that follow me on Instagram, you may know so many small things kept going wrong, this was a huge learning curve for me as I have never made anything like this before, so if you have no experience in this sort of thing either, just go for it, it is the only way you learn something new. In theory I knew what needed to be done, in practice it was a different matter, but I managed to rectify everything in the end and I have a cage that I am so happy with and it looks so good.

Cage internal measurements: 96cm (length) x 57cm (width) x 55.5cm (height) = 5,475 sq cms = 848 sq inches.

Cage external measurements: 100cm (Length) x 61cm (width) x 57.25 (height) If you make the platform for the cage to sit on, it will obviously be higher.

Tools you will need:
Drill
Saw
Staple gun
Screwdriver
