INGREDIENTS

• 2 cups Maida (All-purpose flour)

• 1½ tsp Dry yeast

• 2 tbsp Sugar

• 1 tsp Salt

• ¼ cup Milk powder

• 270 ml Warm Milk

• 2 tbsp Oil

• Water – as needed

• Butter – for brushing


👩‍🍳 METHOD

1. Warm 270 ml milk (lukewarm, not hot).

2. Take some milk in a bowl, add sugar + dry yeast, mix well and rest for 10 minutes until foamy.

3. In a big bowl add maida, milk powder, salt. Mix well.

4. Add yeast mixture and remaining milk. Mix to form a dough.

5. Knead for 5–10 minutes, stretching well.
• Use little water & oil while kneading.
• Dough should be soft, not dry.

6. Cover and rest for 2 hours until doubled.

7. Refrigerate dough for 24 hours (optional but gives better softness).

8. Divide dough into 150 g balls.

9. Shape into round buns and long buns (as shown in video).
• No air bubbles, pinch properly.

10. Keep in a warm place and rest for 1½ hours.

11. Preheat air fryer for 10 minutes.

12. Brush milk wash on top.

13. Bake at 180°C for 25 minutes.

14. Apply butter immediately after baking.

15. Cool for 5 minutes, then cover to keep soft.
