Testing the Sonos Arc for Dolby Atmos on Sony & Samsung TV's (2020 models)

Here we test to see if we are getting Dolby Atmos on a Samsung Q80T (2020 model), and a Sony X950H (2020 model). We tested the amazon prime app installed in both TV's and the amazon prime app on both a Roku 4K ultra unit, and an Amazon 4K Firestick (purchased in early 2020). If you have a different Sony or Samsung 2020 model we could not guarantee it would work, however there would be a pretty good chance it would work, if the settings are the same.


As mentioned in the video, we have Samsung & Sony, if you have an LG set it most likely will work. Also we did not test the apple 4k TV app or an apple 4K TV device. Based on the theory it should technically work, however testing these units on your specific brand and model is the only way to know for certain. We would encourage others to test the apple 4k TV device and app on your TVs to verify Dolby Atmos is heard.
