JAPAN VLOGS - Tokyo. Shopping at Harajuku, Shibuya & Shinjuku. Disney Store and Dinner at Katsukura

Welcome to aclaireytale and this new series of JAPAN VLOGS!!! Join me every Wednesday 5pm for a new Japan vlog. I film every day from our trip in September 2019 showing you Kyoto, Tokyo, Shinjuku, Shibuya, Mount Fuji, Tokyo Disneyland, Tokyo DisneySea. Hope you enjoy!!

We start off by heading to Starbucks for a coffee in Shinjuku where I start the vlog. It's our last full day in Tokyo so we do some shopping!! We go to UniQlo and Under Armour. We then get the JR line to Harajuku where we walk down the famous Takeshita Street. It is an incredibly busy and overwhelming street full of fun shops, rainbow cotton candy / candy floss and brightly coloured cheese toasty. I buy some funky flavoured KitKats. Just off this street we find an Island Vintage Coffee (a coffee shop we loved when we went to Hawaii and haven't been to since) Simon got his coconut macadamia coffee and then we walked around the corner to Kiddyland. Kiddy land is a department store full of kids toys and it was so cool! Loads of Marvel, Star Wars and classic Disney merch too. Then we head into Shibuya and walk across the famous Shibuya crossing in the daytime. We find Japan's Disney Store in Shibuya and it is just the coolest! It's so big and full of merch you can't get in the UK. Amazingly enough I came out of there empty handed!!!
Then we get the Ginza line to Asakusa. At Asakusa is Tokyo's Oldest Temple called Senso-ji temple. It is a spectacular temple with pagoda and shrine etc. You get a view of the Skytree too. I got my fortune at Senso-ji temple and so does Simon (I can't say mine was a good fortune!!!). We top up our Suica cards and get the short train to Akihabara where there is the famous Yodabashi Camera Multimedia Store Akiba. This store is INSANE! We went to a smaller one in Shinjuku when my camera broke but this is a whole other level!! (literally there are like 9 levels!). A computer gamer's dream. We get the JR line from Akihabara straight to Shinjuku station where we went to Takeshimaya Department Store. At the top floor is a famous Tonkatsu restaurant called Katsukura. We saw it on thisNatasha's vlog and really fancied it! It was one of the pricier meals we have had but it was so good!!! We then head to the hotel to pick up our suitcases and in the next vlog you'll see us heading to Tokyo Disneyland!!!! We are staying at Hotel Citadines Central. Hope you enjoy!! So many things to do in Tokyo!!!
