I found a micro-inverter on Amazon that claimed to be as simple to use as plugging in a standard 120V appliance. This sounded a bit too good to be true so I ordered a unit and put it to the test. I also checked with my local inspector as this does seem to have some areas that might not meet the National Electrical Code (NEC).
