An explore around a former coking plant in Royston, near Barnsley.
De-commissioned in 2014, the site was stripped of asbestos and many structures demolished, however many buildings remain.
Parts of the site cover what was previously Monckton Main Colliery, which itself closed in 1966. We did find many relics from the colliery but excluded the footage for safety reasons.
A housing development has been a suggested use for this site, we visited September 2022.
