Joy Stephens and David Sarnoff react to Coca Cola's General Counsel, Bradley Gayton's call to action. In January, GC Gayton sent a memo to the company's law firms saying that they needed to increase their population of attorneys of color and attorneys of color who work on Coca Cola's legal matters or face financial repercussions. Joy and David discuss that while increasing the hiring of attorneys of color, LGBTQ and other underrepresented groups is a positive step, it is only one ingredient in the formula. Hiring, coupled with creating an inclusive workplace culture is vital to sustaining a long term solution.
