🚨 THREATENED with arrest and trespassed from the Downtown Phoenix Post Office simply for exercising my RIGHTS — filming and filing a FOIA request.

The Supreme Court has ruled again and again: the government can only regulate speech and conduct in PUBLIC property under reasonable time, place, and manner restrictions. I was in a public lobby, during business hours, not disruptive, and not entering restricted areas. In other words: 100% lawful and protected.

Federal law is clear. Under the Code of Federal Regulations, members of the public have the right to transact official business at the Post Office, including submitting FOIA (Freedom of Information Act) requests.
FOIA is a guaranteed right of ALL people — whether verbal, written, or electronic. Denying it, or trespassing someone for asking, is a violation of civil liberties.
