So, for instance: the MCC tax credit- the most valuable tax credit in the country, Oregon Bond which provides you a deeply below-market interest rate, MAP 8000% financing which provides you no money down financing at very favourable terms, certain down payment assistance programs that exist in specific counties, USDA financing which is 100% financing very favourable for rural areas. All these things have income limitation. So, yes there are programs for folks who make lower incomes. It just depends on what the best program is for you. If you have a down payment the MAP 8000% financing program may not be the best for you. If you lack a down payment, then that program could be for you. So, it’s just a matter of reviewing your situation and figuring out which program is going to fit within your income limits.
