Splendid Dayao Mountain-Yao ethnic group 斑斓瑶山 瑶族

Ancestors of Yao ethnic group lived in around Changsha of Hunan Province in 221 BC and later moved southward in the chaos caused by war. Now the Yao ethnic group with a population over 2.13 million people mainly distributes in the mountains of Hunan, Guangxi, Guangdong, Yunnan and Jiangxi provinces.
