This video shows how a well dressed stone knot used with the Fiddlestick can introduce unwanted twists in the rope. Tying a stone knot for use with a Fiddlestick is counter intuative when trying to avoid rope twists. To avoid twists in the rope after the Fiddlestick has been removed and the stone knot released there needs to be some twisting inside the stone knot.
