How To Sew Free-Motion Embroidery On Water Soluble Fabric | Textile Techniques | Didsbury Art Studio

Using Transfer paints on satin I combine free-motion embroidery on water soluble fabric based on the theme Natural Forms. Using these textile techniques I sew onto the fabrics and layer them up.

Hello I'm Sally an art and textiles teacher who set up my small teaching business @didsburyartstudio after leaving my full-time teaching job in a secondary school in the UK. Since then I have been exploring my passion for art/textiles by building up a portfolio of new skills from courses I have been on and a recent Internship in Millinery. Currently, I am teaching art part-time in a hospital and offer textile workshops to schools.
