ROLI BLOCKS is an innovative modular music studio that is completely portable thanks to unrivaled IOS/Android compatibility and convenient wireless syncing with your preferred smart device.

The other essential feature of ROLI BLOCKS is the five different dimensions of Touch that are available on the Blocks including Strike, Press Down, Glide Left to Right, Slide Up and Down, Release. The effects are independent for each finger so you can use multiple dimensions at the same time.

You will also notice the multi color LED's below the BLOCKS surface. In addition to giving the controller a cool appearance, they also provide great performance flexibility. Using the ROLI NOISE app, you can set up different scales(major, minor, etc) and the lights on the BLOCK will change to reflect the app screen. Beginners or those still getting familiar with scales and theory can even engage hide mode, making it impossible to play a wrong note.

The BLOCKS is also great for finger drumming letting you apply effects and modulation on the go rather than in post production. If your getting started with drums but have your hear set on making beats, the ROLI groove kit setting lets you quickly create patterns and then apply effects as the pattern plays back.

The NOISE app is an incredible software resource with tons of onboard sounds including custom artist sounds from some of the worlds biggest producers.
