[De-Neglect] What Is Scabies?

Over 200 million people worldwide are estimated to be affected by scabies, a neglected tropical disease caused by tiny mites that cannot be seen with our bare eyes. However, scabies is both treatable and preventable, and the first step is awareness.

For the 2nd annual World NTD Day on January 30, 2021, De-Neglect is raising awareness about neglected tropical diseases (NTDs), which are a group of preventable, treatable diseases that can steal people of their health, livelihood & sense of dignity. #EndTheNeglect #BeatNTDs
