POWERTEC Drill Dust Collection System with Drill Guide!

The POWERTEC Drill Dust Collection System provides dust-free drilling and improved alignment when drilling holes. The system features interchangeable drill guide bushings (1/4”, 5/16”, 3/8”, & 1/2”) to keep the drill bit straight and perpendicular to the surface, a clear dust cover that provides visibility while drilling and contains the debris within the housing, and built-in front and side hash marks for precision alignment.

I used this dust collection system while installing some floating shelves and to drill a variety of holes in this 1-1/2” plywood panel. The system collected most of the dust from the holes I drilled and I found that it worked better laying flat than up vertically. The only thing I didn’t like is how easy the dust cover falls off when aligning the system vertically before you put in under vacuum. It would be a nice improvement if there was a latch to lock the dust cover in place when it’s not under vacuum.
