Trey Phipps is a 6’2” sharpshooter who plays Division 1 basketball for Oral Roberts University. This past season Trey shot an impressive 40% from behind the 3-point line and 82% from the free-throw line. Trey believes that a big part of why those percentages are so accurate is because of his shooting workouts on The Gun he has done for over 10 years, and he continues to use The Gun today at ORU.

Trey knows the key to becoming a knock-down shooter is high repetitions, and he loves that with The Gun he can maximize efficiency and get a lot of reps in a short amount of time. He also likes that he can completely customize his workout with The Gun and can work on 3-point jump shots, mid-range jump shots, and floaters all within the same shooting session. Trey also loves that The Gun allows him to adjust the time in between each pass, as well as picking his spots on the floor he wants to shoot from. This allows him to work on either shooting on the move or shooting off of the catch.

Trey does believe that The Gun allowed him to become a Division 1 player because throughout high school he spent countless hours on The Gun trying to perfect his shot and work on his overall game. Trey would absolutely recommend the Gun to anyone because he believes it allows him to work on his game in every aspect.
