For the first time in my audio room I played the 7.5ips, 4-Track tape in good quality.

The big event was my finishing the multi-EQ head preamp, with front panel selectable 5 options.

The Ampex 445 has two playback heads, one for 2 and another one for 4 tracks, and now I can enjoy either one in their ultimate glory - played through the external all-tube head preamps.
