Train's Pat Monahan talks about how he wrote their smash hit "Drops of Jupiter."

Train is a GRAMMY award and Billboard Music Award winning American rock band that has sold over 10 million albums and 30 million tracks worldwide. Breaking onto the scene in 1998 with their track “Meet Virginia”, Train quickly established themselves as a household name, without fitting specifically in one genre, which made the band appeal to a wide range of fans. The band reached a new level of popularity in 2001 when they dropped their certified double platinum album Drops of Jupiter. The top song off the album “Drops of Jupiter (Tell Me)” remained in the Top 40 for almost 40 weeks. 2021 marks the 20th Anniversary of the smash hit. Other notable songs by Train include “Calling All Angels” and “Hey, Soul Sister”.

Train continues to tour today to perform for audiences all over the United States, with dates from July through October 2021. The band is also a huge supporter of Family House, which “serves as a home away from home for families of children with cancer and other life-threatening illnesses by providing physical comfort and emotional support, free from financial concerns.” Additionally, Train has partnered with winemaker James Foster to establish the Save Me, San Francisco Wine Co. to produce Northern California red wines, with all proceeds benefitting Family House.
