Bringing Out the BIG Guns for the Spindatt Comp Making a BMX Chris King Headset Fit

In this episode I take out the bike for its first proper ride and expert frame builders Vernon Barker Cycles (Links Below) help me make an old school BMX Chris King Gripnut Headset fit a standard 1 inch MTB headtube by machining the cups down from 32.5mm to 30.2mm in diameter on their lathe.
Am I the first person to ever try this? Has this been done before? I don't know; you tell me! It was a big risk but thanks to Theo and Dave at Vernon Barker Cycles it worked out and now my 1989 Diamondback Ascent has a GOLD Chris King Gripnut Headset!!
