Roman Ledenyov - String Quartet Op.7 (Ledenyev)

Ledenyov (ledenyev or ledenev) studied composition with Yevgeny Messner, Vissarion Shebalin and Sergei V. Yevseyev at the Central Music School in Moscow from 1942–48. He then studied composition with Anatoly N. Alexandrov and Nikolai Rakov at the P. I. Tchaikovsky State Conservatory in Moscow from 1948–55 and had postgraduate studies in composition with Anatoly N. Alexandrov there from 1955–58. Ledenyov has composed several song-cycles, didactic music, film and TV scores, and much music for radio and stage production.
