Entering a Tropical Paradise - FNQ

WELCOME BACK TO ANOTHER VIDEO!

In this video we finally hit the tropical queensland we've been craving.
Firstly we visit Karumba (where the outback meets the sea) which is a beautiful seaside town with plenty to do and see.

Then onto Atherton where we stay at Lake Tinaroo (Downfall Creek Campground).
This only cost us $6.50 each person / per night. The tablelands offered a refreshing cool change up from the outback we'd been travelling through the previous few weeks. We easily spent 4 nights exploring this breathtaking tropical paradise. From waterfalls to wineries the tablelands had it all.

We then make our way onto Cairns. The drive from Atherton to Cairns is a scary one with tight, windy roads through the rainforest it was definitely a relief once we reached the other side.
