Improvising on the Yamaha CK88, 8.10.24

Today's improv is a little different. New to the keyboard setup is this Yamaha CK88 stage piano, replacing my trusty 88-key Casio PX350. This improv was recorded after about 3 hours of experimenting with the keyboard and there are still many things I have not discovered in it. Even so, I was trying to get as much sonic variety as possible out of it, so if this seems a bit less structured than most of my other improvs, that's why.

Also my initial review of the CK88 is this: it's basically 90-95% as good as a Nord stage piano for a quarter of the price. Incredible sounds and super intuitive controls. You'll be hearing a lot out of this 'board.

All of the sounds on today's improv were using the CK88, routed through my Yamaha MG06X into Motu M4 running off my MacBook Pro.
