Super happy to get this record! I spent a lot of time learning and optimizing the run over the last week.

This time can be pushed down a lot further through better execution, as this was my ~10th full run and 1st run that actually went well overall. I can realistically get a 1h33 without any strategy improvements, but it would take many many tries.

RNG Manipulation:
Some things in the game are completely random, such as the growth speed of guppies, or the coin drop rate of guppies. However, you can force your starting guppies to be "luckier" by closing the game and doing some actions in the main menu. Through trial and error, I was able to find certain actions that led to better guppies, and therefore faster times in each level.
This is called RNG manipulation because the actions in the menu can manipulate the game's RNG (random number generator).
