Zwaar onweer 9 juli 2024 (omgevallen bomen, windstoten, hagel, ...)

Rond 16:00 uur arriveerde de eerste, kleine onweerscel in Halle. Het regende en waaide hevig, waardoor veel bomen omvielen. Deze cel trok vervolgens richting Brussel. Rond 17:30 uur kwam het tweede onweer met een shelfcloud aan in Halle en Brussel. Het Warandepark stond onder water. Rond 18:45 uur bereikte de derde onweerszone het gebied en veroorzaakte opnieuw veel regen en windstoten. Er viel zelfs kort hagel met een diameter tot 2 cm. Er waren weinig zichtbare bliksemflitsen.

Around 4:00 PM, the first small thunderstorm cell arrived in Halle. It rained and blew heavily, causing many trees to fall. This cell then continued towards Brussels. Around 5:30 PM, the second thunderstorm with a shelf cloud arrived in Halle and Brussels. The Warandepark was flooded. Around 6:45 PM, the third thunderstorm zone came and brought heavy rain and gusts of wind once again. There was even brief hail with a diameter of up to 2 cm. There were few visible lightning flashes.
