Sid and I decided to go out to lunch and seeing the weather wasn't that great we headed north to the new Surf Shack Restaurant in Gregory Town. The restaurant seats around a dozen people inside and there is room on the front porch for additional people and when we got there around 1 pm there were about 8 people.
As you'll see in the video their surfboard offers a listing of the daily specials and I should mention that they are open for breakfast and lunch only Thursday through Monday.

I ordered a chicken jerk panini and Sid had the turkey sandwich and they were both delicious. Well Sid told me her's was as I'm not a turkey lover to say the least so I didn't try it.

Naturally everything is cooked and prepared individually and after we were done eating we had a nice talk with Jen, the owner, who along with Bill, the chef, and Melissa have made quite a nice place to stop in for great food. They haven't been opened all that long and we have friends that frequently stop there and have told us how much they enjoy the food and place. So how could we not go up and try it ourselves.

We weren't disappointed and we would recommend you stop by for some great food and drinks either as a destination or on your way to somewhere else. Tell Jen, Todd and Sid sent you!
