Trimbakeshwar Temple, Maharashtra: Located in the nashik disctrict of Maharashtra, Triambakeshwar temple is a hindu temple dedicated to lord shiva. Also, this temple is a religious temple and is one of the twelve jyotirlinga. Kusatarva which is a basically a sacred pond in the temple premises is the source of Godavari river, the longest river in the peninsular india. This temple was built by Peshwa Balaji Baji Rao and the extraordinary feature of the jyotiringa located here is its three faces embodying lord brahma, lord Vishnu and lord rudra. This temple is situated in the small town of trimbak which is 28km away from the city of nashik.
