We had an incredible time at the Avants Miata Mingle, a premier event for all Mazda MX-5 Miata enthusiasts! Held on Saturday, June 1, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hagerty Garage + Social in Van Nuys, CA, this event was free and open to the public. Enthusiasts from all over brought Miatas of all generations. Attendees received commemorative Miata Mingle stickers and posters. It turned out to be the largest Miata gathering in Southern California!

At the Miata Mingle, visitors had the chance to see a variety of Mazda MX-5 Miatas from different generations:

*NA (1989-1997):*
- The original Miata, known for its pop-up headlights, lightweight design, and classic roadster feel.
- Features a 1.6L or 1.8L engine, with a charming and minimalist interior.

*NB (1999-2005):*
- Slightly more refined than the NA, with fixed headlights and improved performance.
- Comes with a 1.8L engine and a slightly more modern interior, maintaining the lightweight ethos.

*NC (2006-2015):*
- A more substantial redesign, featuring a more powerful 2.0L engine.
- Notable for its retractable hardtop option and more spacious interior, appealing to those looking for a more comfortable ride.

*ND (2016-Present):*
- The latest iteration, bringing a sleek, aggressive design and advanced technology.
- Equipped with a 2.0L SkyActiv engine, offering a perfect blend of performance and efficiency.
- Features modern amenities and a luxurious yet sporty interior.

*Special Editions:*
- Several special editions and limited runs were also on display, showcasing unique colors, trims, and features that make these models particularly rare and collectible.
