HOW TO: Change Transmission Fluid and Filter Chevy Cobalt or Pontiac G5 2005 - 2010 BEST TUTORIAL.

This video is a step-by-step tutorial showing a transmission fluid and filter change on a 2008 Chevy Cobalt. Being that this is the sport model, it has the 2.4L engine. However, process should be the same for the cobalt that has the 2.2L engine. This video may be applicable to other model years of the Chevy Cobalt and Pontiac G5.
This car was shifting very hard from 2nd-3rd and 3rd to 4th so I decided to drain the fluid and replace with new, replace the filter, and add a bottle of “Lucas Oil Transmission Fix”. Since uploading this video I have driven the car 100 miles and experienced no issues. If your car’s transmission is slipping or starting to shift hard, I would recommend trying to see if you can save yourself from replacing the transmission.
