Here's a look at the Maingate Lakeside Resort in Kissimmee, Florida on Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway. It's only about a 10-15 drive to any of the Walt Disney World Parks or Disney Springs which is about as close as you're going to get when you stay off property. It was really inexpensive when we went in February 2025 but even so I don't think we'll be back. There are a couple other hotels on Irlo Bronson that we've had a better experience at than this one. The property was actually very nice other than a sketchy individual that was wondering around outside in the parking area at 3:30AM on the morning we checked out. I did find 2 spiders and small beetle-type bugs in my bed and the gentleman who check us in was really friendly but it took so long that for a second I thought it was a prank -think the sloth at the DMV in Zootopia. There was even someone in the back office who came out once but she didn't help at all even though there were 3 people in line waiting. I found the beds and pillows to be very comfortable which was nice. There was no hot water at all for a shower on one of our nights after we got back from the parks which was disappointing - it didn't even get warm. Anyway, we had a great time, the price and location were awesome but it will probably be worth paying $10 more per night to stay at one of the other Irlo Bronson Hotels for me.
