Meanwhile, a parallel track of nuclear negotiations with Iran has resumed in Istanbul. Western envoys are urging Tehran to halt uranium enrichment, as the region deals with the fallout from last month's Israeli and US air strikes on Iran's nuclear sites. Turkiye isn't just hosting these talks. It's driving them. With its NATO leverage, enduring ties to Moscow, and decades of engagement with Tehran, Turkiye is pushing for diplomacy, even as much of the world hardens into opposing camps.
