Hide file without app

In this video, I'll show you a simple way to hide files on your Android device without installing any extra apps. This method works on most Android devices and keeps your files hidden from prying eyes. Let’s get started!

Step 1: Open File Manager

1. Open the default File Manager on your Android phone.


2. Navigate to the folder where the file you want to hide is stored.



Step 2: Create a New Folder

1. Tap the "Create New Folder" option.


2. Name the folder with a dot (.) at the beginning, for example, .HiddenFiles.


3. Tap "OK" or "Create."



Step 3: Move Files to the Hidden Folder

1. Select the files you want to hide.


2. Move or copy them into the folder you just created.



Step 4: Hide the Folder (If Needed)

1. Go to the File Manager settings.


2. Look for the option "Show Hidden Files" and turn it off.



Bonus Tip: Rename Files

You can also rename individual files by adding a dot (.) at the beginning of their names. This will make them hidden as well.


How to Access Hidden Files Again:

1. Open File Manager.


2. Go to settings and enable "Show Hidden Files" to see the hidden folder or files.
