The Quest - Magical Gouache Landscape Painting Tutorial

I don't know about you, but in my most epic dreams there's always a sense of urgency; a task that must be done or a quest that must be completed. It's normally combined with the ability to move at the speed of a lazy snail... why is that?!

So that's what we'll be painting in this project (the quest part, not the snail 😉). We've reached the end of our quest to retrieve this glowing ball of mysterious light; we just have to step up there and take it...

COLORS
I used Prussian blue, phthalo green, cobalt turquoise light, primary yellow, primary red and titanium white.

BRUSHES
For brushes I use a 1/2" angled shader, a 1/2" flat, size 8 filbert, size 4 round, size 6 round petal and size 2 liner. These are Kingart Original Gold Series brushes- I've been using these brushes exclusively for over 2 years now and I love them!
