12,000km TESLA Model 3 Toronto to Vancouver | TransCanada Road Trip

IMPORTANT Disclaimer (FEB 2022): due to Tesla recently changed the tier costs for supercharging, my road trip charging costs summarized in this video is no longer valid. It is still a reference on how much I spent on supercharging but would no longer represent the true cost as of today.

OMG it's been a while!! I just returned from a one-month TransCanada road trip with my Tesla Model 3 Long Range! This was a trip I had always wanted to attempt, even back when I drove gas cars. This year, it became the obvious choice to travel domestically; plus, I want to experience how charging works with an electric vehicle. Overall, the entire road trip was a success and I am so happy and proud to be able to accomplish this! In my video, I will summarize the following statistics: mileage driven, charging locations, overnight stays, cost of charging, etc.

Our trip was a combination of leisure/sightseeing as well as visiting friends. We visited Banff, Jasper, Vancouver and even took my Tesla onto Vancouver island (a video will be coming for this)! Most of charging was done at Tesla Superchargers. We also stayed at hotels that offer overnight charging.

(To summarize charging cost for a round trip drive between Toronto and Vancouver: the entire trip cost about $400 Canadian Dollars, for a total of 9,000 kms.) **IMPORTANT**this was the cost to drive the round trip in 2021. In February 2021, Tesla's supercharging costs increased significantly due the 2 tier cost structure was changed to a 4 tier costs.
