Islay Barley 2011, 2012, and 2013 Scotch Review

Bruichladdich is one of my favorite whisky distilleries. I love how they utilize old machinery to make their Scotch. I love their transparency. I love their expressions.

The Islay Barley expressions that they release every year are a great example of how they use locally sourced grains to make their whisky. These three scotches, the 2011, 2012, and 2013 Islay Barley are an awesome example of how much of an effect grain can have on it's final product.
