A four storied building in the center of Peshawar city is known as "The Cunningham Clock Tower". It was founded by Sir George Cunningham in 1898 on the occasion of Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee. Its construction was completed in 1900. Its old stairs are still used today. The bell tower has a diameter of 31 feet and a height of 85 feet. Gharials in the style of the London Clock Tower are installed in the clock tower, which were sent from London by the British government. Watch the video for more details.
