Tonight we attended the 2023 FIFA U-17 World Cup in Surabaya, this match was between Indonesia and Panama!
Unfortunately, we only got to see the last 20 minutes of Morocco vs Ecuador.

This was such a good experience! The vibe in the crowd was amazing, everyone was so happy and excited, and they were so friendly to us, I think we got 20 photos here at least!

Indonesia has been labeled as having the most dangerous football league in the world! Our experience was that this is so far from the truth. Yes, there have been a number of unfortunate events and some of those have sadly ended with the loss of innocent lives, however, after looking at the facts as to why this has happened, we think there is more to it than just crazed football fans. From poor stadium design, poor crowd control and overall lack of order has been the contributing factor of these fatal incidents.

We personally had an excellent time, everybody was friendly, nobody was out of control and the game was excellent.

We're so excited to continue our Indonesia travel, it is far from over!
