Dwarf Fortress is a game with an unusual, old-school art style - instead of graphics, Tarn and Zach focus their time on simulating a world to extents that no other game has done so far; some people think of it as an alternative reality version: how would video games have developed, if graphics cards wouldn't have gone 3d.
