Kulant Sharabha Rudra Mantra
Kaulantak Peeth presents the world with yet another powerful mantra- The Mantra of Bhagwan Sharabh.
This mantra is revealed through the tradition of Himalayan Siddhas. The Siddhas of Himalayas chant this mantra to destroy misfortune, heal one’s body, mind and Chetana (consciousness). While the Shamans in Himalayan Siddha tradition chant it to invoke and connect with the ferocious energy of Bhagwan Sharabh to do their work.
In this video, Bhagwan Sharabh is holding deer in one hand, conch shell in another hand, while the ‘Astra Shastra’ (weapons) similar to ‘Khatvanga’. One finds different weapons and things like ‘Khappar’ (bowl) in the Devata’s hands in His different images. Here, His two hands are folded in ‘Pranam Mudra’ in the image depicted in this video. The story behind this is, when the Devatas and the Mahasiddhas saw this ferocious form of Bhagwan Shiva in form of Bhagwan Sharabh, they got terrified that if the Lord of the Universe become more ‘ugra’ (ferocious) than this, then the Universe will be annihilated. Looking at Him, tears began to well-up in the eyes of the Siddhas. Looking at the tears in the eyes of Siddhas, Bhagwan Sharabh folded His hands in ‘Pranam Mudra’ and said that although His work is to destroy the Universe, yet the time hasn’t yet arrived for ‘Pralay’ (end of the Universe). So the Siddhas need not worry and they must just enjoy the ‘Leela’ of this ‘Ugra’ form of Bhagwan Sharabh.

In Himalayan Siddha tradition Siddhas call Him as Bhagwan Sharabh Rudra and this mantra as the ‘Kulant Sharabh Mantra’.
