DELETING & UPDATING LAYERS AutoCAD - Warehouse Design (Pt. 16)

Hi All,

Welcome to part 16 of the Warehouse Design series. In this video we will be cleaning up our Layers inside of our drawing. We will focus on deleting layers that no longer have useful objects and moving objects to thier correct home layers. Ensuring layers are uniform and neat within a facility drawing is extremely important. When sharing these drawings the correct layer allows the user to understand what is where and how they can identify items like electric drops that may turned off. AutoCAD is an extremely useful tool that can help with this. Some of the common functions and commands used will be: Deleting, Updating and Renaming Layers.

In the Warehouse Design series we will go over what it takes to design and make a warehouse effective and efficient.
