Paul's Ride To Tawstock

Welcome to my first GoPro video from our new home in Devon! I was aboard Madge (named after Madge from Benidorm) and as I'm still not fully familiar with its capabilities on hilly roads, I'd decided not to venture too far. However, after getting to the beautiful hamlet of Tawstock, driving up and down some fairly steep roads, I was presented with some VERY steep hills, up and down! After driving under an old bridge (possibly a disused railway bridge) and driving up a very steep hill, I decided to call it quits and head home. However, on my way up a very steep hill, Madge suddenly without warning slammed stopped! The noise from the motor wasn't pleasant, but after turning off the power and turning it back on, she resumed the steep climb. There was another stop further up. One thing was guaranteed, if I was broken down there, I would NOT be able to walk back! I used my notion that if I take it easy on the throttle, Madge would get me home, and she did!

We are truly blessed to live around this beautiful part of
England. There's even a Castle, Tawstock Castle, or Devon Castle. It is a fully functioning hotel where there are functions held such as weddings. I hope you enjoy this video. Please comment.
