Silk House & Bangkok Canal | Jim Thompson House. Khlong Saen Saep Boat Service

Here's a summary of my visit to the Jim Thompson House Museum. Visitors can get there in various ways. I took the Khlong Saen Saep boat service, an affordable ride on a long-tailed boat with locals and tourists.

The Jim Thompson House Museum offers tours in many languages. I took their French tour. The tour was short and sweet -- just about 30 minutes. Visitors can walk outside the house or check out a wide variety of silk goods at one of the silk galleries while waiting for their tours to start. The silk options are stunning but come with hefty price tags.

Is it worth visiting? I appreciate silk goods, so I enjoyed the visit. A trip to the Jim Thompson House Museum is worth it if you like silk or want to learn about silk history in Thailand.
